Aufgabengebiet
  • scientific services in research and teaching in the field of mathematical physics, in particular mathematical aspects of quantum field and string theory
  • teaching tasks: exercises totalling 3 SWS in the Bachelor's programme (course, design of exercises and correction of exercises)
  • support in the organisation of seminars and events
  • Scientific communication towards the society in themes of mathematical physics in the broadest sense and contemporary research
  • participation in outreach initiatives (Youtube channel in the physics RTG, regular participation of our group in the LDNW)
Anforderungen
  • completed scientific university degree in mathematics, physics or related subject areas
  • basic knowledge of knowledge transfer desirable
  • experience in scientific communication/outreach
  • specialized knowledge in mathematical physics is not required, but a broad culture in mathematics and physics is welcome
